So this scene tells us a few things…
the primary one being that the Ryougou doesn’t need constant contact to control it’s host. The weapon has not been on Teo’s body for a while, yet he is still under its influence, I feel like that is important. The second based on Teo’s lack of visible injuries means that he can regenerate surprisingly quickly, making him an even more dangerous foe.
